Community led housing stories

When looking to develop a community led housing scheme, it’s important to learn from those who have lived experience and to keep yourself inspired by looking at completed projects and speaking to those with lived experience. It’s also important to keep in mind those who will be helped by the projects, who will be living in the houses and how will you have helped them?  What will it mean to those individuals and families?

Below you will find a collection of case studies, taken from schemes both in our region and nationally. You will see just how diverse community led housing can be. If you’re new to community led housing, hopefully these stories will ignite a passion in you to go on and deliver housing solutions for your own community. Once you’ve had a read, get in touch and we’ll talk you through the next steps.
